Hey guys,

Have you ever looked at someone who is a powerful witness for Jesus and thought to yourself, “Man I wish I could be more like that”?

In Acts 1:8 we have a great promise: “…but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” (NASB)

Way too often, believers expect pastors or ministers to be great witnesses, but don’t feel that they, as ‘regular’ or ‘normal’ Christians can really share with that same effectiveness.

If we press into intimacy and relationship with Jesus, then our spiritual senses become awakened. Holy Spirit longs to reveal to us who we really are in Christ so He can fill us with His love, His nature, and His power to be His witnesses!

If you are filled with the truth, then truth is what will come out of you when you speak to others.

Don’t be afraid to step out…You can’t fail if you walk in love! Leave people with the reality that God loves them and cares about them…and know this, being a powerful witness doesn’t mean you have to drop everything and head into full-time ministry. Christians need to bring Jesus everywhere…into the workplace, the grocery store, school…it doesn’t matter! When we’re filled with Him we bring Him everywhere. We need to be like kingdom leaven into every sphere of influence wherever we are.

If you live filled with the Word of God and the truth of the Gospel, you will carry power and influence wherever you go.

When we’re filled with Jesus, it becomes ‘normal’ to love people, pray for them, hear from God on their behalf, and minister God’s love and power into their lives.

And this is important…if you are really going to shine, make sure that your production is excellent when you are at work as you represent Jesus and change the culture where you are. Make it your normal habit to offer up your best at your job, in school, and wherever you are. That is a powerful part of your witness because you are doing it as unto the Lord!

Colossians 3:17 tells us, “Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.”

We really are invited to represent the Father in everything we say and everything we do! That is so amazing!

Love you guys!
