MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Position Overview:
Lifestyle Christianity is seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Lifestyle Christianity Training Center in Watauga, TX. This on-site position is critical to maintaining our facilities, ensuring that our buildings, equipment, and systems are in excellent working condition to support our mission: Encounter Jesus. Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect Buildings and Equipment: Regularly inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address any issues promptly.
- Repair and Maintenance: Repair faulty equipment units and damaged structures, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything meets required standards.
- General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and carpentry, to keep the facility in prime condition.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for equipment and supplies, ensuring timely restocking and availability.
- Issue Resolution: Conduct regular inspections to proactively identify and resolve potential problems before they escalate.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance measures to extend the lifespan of equipment and systems.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with management, reporting any issues or potential problems as soon as they arise.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety policies and procedures, creating a safe environment for all.
Qualifications:
- Technical certification or vocational training is preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or similar role.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, painting, and basic carpentry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
