Prayer Ministry Lead - Lifestyle Christianity

PRAYER MINISTRY LEAD

Position Overview:

Lifestyle Christianity is seeking a spiritually mature, passionate, and organized individual to serve as our full-time Prayer Ministry Lead. This person will cultivate a culture of intercession throughout the ministry by leading prayer efforts across all major expressions of Lifestyle Christianity—including an Intercessors Network/Prayer Shield, Power + Love events, and Lifestyle Christianity University (LCU). This role includes both spiritual leadership and administrative oversight, requiring strong communication, discernment, and a heart fully aligned with our mission to equip believers to walk in their God-given identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intercessors Network / Prayer Shield:
    • Build and lead a Prayer Shield team that consistently intercedes for the ministry, leaders, and events.
    • Develop and implement a communication strategy and an acceptance/onboarding process for new intercessors.
    • Host weekly virtual prayer gatherings (Zoom or Google Meet) for intercessors.
    • Respond to prayer-related emails in a timely and pastoral manner.
    • Provide virtual and in-person teaching sessions to intercessors on the lifestyle of prayer and spiritual warfare.
    • Commit to regular intercession for ministry leadership, Power + Love, and traveling teams.
  • Power + Love Events:
    • Develop event-specific prayer points in advance of each event.
    • Gather insights on upcoming ‘host’ cities, including past revivals and areas of spiritual resistance.
    • Travel to up to one Power + Love event per month (or, as specified), leading:
    • Daily pre-service prayer (morning and evening)
    • Coordination of prayer times with local intercessors and event team
    • Onsite intercession and altar ministry support as needed
    • Teaching and equipping of local prayer teams on prayer principles
  • Lifestyle Christianity University (LCU):
    • Lead multiple student prayer gatherings per week, delegating leadership when traveling.
    • Organize and host multiple evening worship & prayer events each academic year.
    • Teach on prayer in both general student sessions and elective classes (as assigned by LCU Director).
  • Encounter Nights (Biweekly Tuesday Evening Events):
    • Lead and coordinate pre-service prayer sessions.
    • Oversee Altar Ministry Team: scheduling, training, leading, and post-service debriefing.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated lifestyle of consistent prayer and intercession
  • Clear evidence of spiritual maturity and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit
  • Excellent teaching, leadership, and communication skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple areas of responsibility
  • Able to travel periodically (most likely, 1x/month / occasionally, 2x/month) for events
  • Experience with Zoom/Google Meet, email communication, and basic administration
  • Prior experience with altar ministry and intercessor team leadership is strongly preferred
