Partner Relations Manager
Development Officer Overview
- Report to the COO and work in collaboration with the Development Director, staff and board, and the fundraising consultant.
- Offer development strategic direction for Lifestyle Christianity in a highly collaborative, faith-based work environment.
- Raise charitable donations through ask meetings, digital media, event sponsorships, and grant income.
- Steward giving partners to show appreciation, grow their giving, and establish new giving networks.
- Provide event leadership as directed to ensure each event is run according to best practices.
Specific Responsibilities Related to Above Overview
- Create SMART goals for the year in coordination with the COO, Development Director, and the fundraising consultant.
- Establish and grow relationships with giving prospects and existing giving partners to understand how they can best give to Lifestyle Christianity and Lifestyle Christianity University to fulfill their generosity goals.
- Meet with existing giving partners to grow gifts over the previous year.
- Meet with prospective giving partners and enroll their participation to raise funds through monthly gifts, low to mid-range individual gifts, and event sponsorships.
- Assist the Development Director with email and letter writing to remain in touch with giving partners and giving prospects.
- Coordinate grant requests and tracking to raise funds.
- Recruit and train a team of development volunteers to support fundraising efforts.
- Analyze and update stewardship processes with the Lifestyle Christianity team to ensure giving partners at all levels of giving remain connected to Lifestyle Christianity.
- Create strategies and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for new fundraising opportunities and stewardship.
- Track giving prospects and giving partners through Bloomerang CRM.
- Keep an innovation focus to lead ways to raise funds as approved by the COO.
- Work with the Development Director, COO, and marketing team to make sure all external communications clearly explain Lifestyle Christianity’s mission and vision.
